Albertus Pictor was a prolific artist who painted a total of 36 churches in the late 15th century, primarily across Uppland and Södermanland. His legacy includes the stunning works found in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nederluleå Church in Gammelstad church village.

The pattern for the ALBERTUS blanket is directly inspired by the intricate details common in Albertus Pictor's painted churches:

Acanthus Scrolls: The central motif echoes the elegant loops of acanthus leaves that characterize the painter's rich, decorative style.
