Bohus Summer 130x180cm Woven Eco Lambswool Blanket

This Bohus Summer blanket, designed by Kerstin Landström for Klippan Yllefabrik, weaves together the rustic beauty and rich history of the Bohuslän region on Sweden's west coast.

The design is a unique collage, translating the region's diverse elements into distinct patterned bands in a refreshing blue, green, and grey summer palette:

 Patterns in the blanket are inspired by the rugged Bohuslän cliffs and the iconic clustered boathouses that line the shoreline.

The intricate, repeating motifs echo the ancient rock carvings from Tanumshede, connecting the throw to the region's deep, prehistoric past.

The central bands feature the delicate forms of the honeysuckle, Bohuslän's beautiful landscape flower.

Subtle knit-like textures pay tribute to the traditional patterns found in old knitted fisherman's sweaters.
