The design is a unique collage, translating the region's diverse elements into distinct patterned bands in a refreshing ochre, grey, and white scheme that evokes the cooling coastal air and late summer harvests:

 Patterns in the blanket are inspired by the rugged Bohuslän cliffs and the iconic clustered boathouses that line the shoreline.

The intricate, repeating motifs echo the ancient rock carvings from Tanumshede, connecting the throw to the region's deep, prehistoric past.

The central bands feature the delicate forms of the honeysuckle, Bohuslän's beautiful landscape flower.

Subtle knit-like textures pay tribute to the traditional patterns found in old knitted fisherman's sweaters.
